Marielle’s favorite memories are of cooking with her grandmother, and growing up in Asia and the Middle East. Today, she lives in Athens, Georgia where she is a social worker and psychotherapist in private practice. In her spare time, she volunteers as an advocate for children in foster care, advocates for those living with a mental illness or addiction, writes for Conversational, and travels with her husband.
